Eliminates the provisional license option for podiatry practitioners who pass the examination but have not completed the required one-year internship program.

Changes terminology in disciplinary proceedings from "informal interview" to "informal hearing" for consistency with formal procedures.

Expands reporting requirements for health care institutions to notify the board when a podiatrist's privileges are denied, revoked, suspended, or limited due to medical incompetence, unprofessional conduct, or mental or physical inability to practice safely.

Adds two new forms of unprofessional conduct: obtaining a fee by fraud, deceit or misrepresentation, and charging a fee for services not rendered.

Changes references from "which" to "that" in multiple sections for grammatical consistency throughout the podiatry licensing statute.
