Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 41-762 to make a technical correction to the definition section of state personnel administration laws.

Clarifies that "State service" means all offices and positions of employment in state government except those exempted by this article.

Removes the phrase "the provisions of" from the statutory language, replacing it with a direct reference to "this article."

Applies to definitions used in article 5 and article 6 of Chapter 41 of Arizona Revised Statutes.
