Establishes a $50 assessment for convictions of family offense violations under Arizona Revised Statutes sections 13-2921, 13-2921.01, 13-2923, and offenses listed in title 13, chapter 36.

Assessment proceeds are deposited into the domestic violence shelter fund and are not subject to surcharges.

Courts must transmit assessed monies to county or city treasurers based on jurisdiction (superior court, justice court, or municipal court), with treasurers forwarding funds to the state treasurer.

Amends section 36-3002 to include the new section 12-116.04 assessment as a funding source for the domestic violence shelter fund alongside existing sources.

The domestic violence shelter fund provides financial assistance to shelters for domestic violence victims through contracts administered by the Department of Economic Security in consultation with a statewide coalition against domestic violence.
