Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 42-1002 to correct grammatical and pronouns references in the Department of Revenue statute.

Changes "is" to "are" in subsection B regarding the director's responsibility for the department's direction, operation and control.

Replaces masculine pronouns "his" and "he" with gender-neutral language "the governor's" and "the governor" in subsection D describing the director appointment process.

Maintains existing provisions for director appointment by the governor from candidates screened by a five-person committee selected by the governor.

Preserves compensation provisions established pursuant to section 38-611 for the director and department personnel.
