AZ SB1501

Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 41-1233 regarding prohibited acts for lobbyists and legislators.

Prohibits retaining or employing anyone to promote or oppose legislation for compensation contingent on passage, defeat, or gubernatorial approval/veto of any legislation.

Prohibits current members of the Arizona Senate or House of Representatives from attempting to secure paid employment as lobbyists while serving in office.

Prohibits improper attempts to influence legislative votes through communication with a legislator's employer.
