Amends Arizona law regarding overtime compensation for law enforcement officers and probation officers.

Law enforcement officers working over 40 hours per week must receive either 1.5 times regular pay or 1.5 hours compensatory time off if federal law mandates overtime, or regular pay/hour-for-hour compensatory leave if federal law does not mandate overtime.

Probation officers working over 80 hours in a two-week period receive the same overtime compensation options as law enforcement officers.

Adds new requirement that county policies requiring use of compensatory time before vacation time cannot result in forfeiture of earned vacation time, and employees must be fully compensated for earned vacation.

Applies retroactively to December 31, 2009, and allows civil actions to recover unpaid overtime compensation or forfeited vacation time.
