Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 25-1004 to add the phrase "of 1978" when referencing the Indian Child Welfare Act in subsection A.

Clarifies that child custody proceedings involving Indian children as defined in the Indian Child Welfare Act of 1978 (25 U.S.C. § 1903) are not subject to Arizona's child custody chapter to the extent governed by federal law.

Requires Arizona courts to treat Indian tribes the same as states for purposes of applying the state's child custody articles.

Mandates recognition and enforcement of child custody determinations made by tribes under Article 3 of the chapter when made under factual circumstances substantially conforming to the chapter's jurisdictional standards.
