Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 13-3102 to expand the definition of "school" to include community colleges under a community college district and universities under the Arizona Board of Regents.

Extends the prohibition on possessing deadly weapons on school grounds to apply to community colleges and universities, making violations a class 1 misdemeanor unless connected to specific violent conduct offenses.

Maintains existing exemptions for firearms not loaded and carried within vehicles, firearms used in school-approved programs, and firearms carried by certain authorized law enforcement personnel.

Updates references throughout the statute to reflect that firearms misconduct on school grounds now includes post-secondary educational institutions in addition to kindergarten through high school.
