AZ SCR1021

Amends section 15-1803 of the Arizona Revised Statutes to allow individuals who entered the state as minors and meet in-state residency requirements to qualify as in-state students for tuition purposes, regardless of immigration status.

Repeals section 15-1825 of the Arizona Revised Statutes, which previously prohibited individuals without lawful immigration status from being classified as in-state students.

Entitles qualifying students to the same rights and benefits as other in-state students, including eligibility for financial aid and scholarships.

Requires the Arizona Board of Regents and community college district governing boards to adopt rules and policies to implement this measure.

Protects confidentiality of information submitted by students to universities or community colleges under this section.
