SCR 1055 - Federal Term Limits Amendment

• Instructs Arizona's Secretary of State to inform all current and future U.S. Representatives and Senators from Arizona that the legislature has directed them to cosponsor and vote for a federal constitutional amendment establishing term limits.

• Specifies the supported term limits as three terms maximum for the U.S. House of Representatives and two terms maximum for the U.S. Senate.

• Requires Arizona's Representatives and Senators to support only amendments with these specific term limit lengths and to encourage other members of Congress to pass the amendment for state ratification.

• Directs the Secretary of State to transmit copies of the resolution to each member of Congress from Arizona.
