Resolution expressing condolences for the death of Christina Taylor Green, age 9, killed on January 8, 2011 during a shooting at a Congress on Your Corner event in Tucson, Arizona.

Christina was a third-grade student at Mesa Verde Elementary School and recently elected student council member who was shot along with five other innocent victims during an assassination attempt on Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords.

Notes Christina's athletic accomplishments, including being the only girl on her Canyon del Oro Little League baseball team, and her interests in swimming, animals, singing, dancing, and gymnastics.

Acknowledges the profound grief of Christina's family, including mother Roxanna, father John, and brother Dallas, as well as the shock and sadness felt by all Americans and Arizona citizens.

Arizona Senate extends deepest sympathies to Christina Taylor Green's family and friends.
