AZ HB2002

Amends section 28-883 of Arizona Revised Statutes regarding parking privileges for persons with physical disabilities.

Authorizes the director to enter into agreements with other jurisdictions, including foreign countries, to extend disabled parking privileges to Arizona residents and recognize international symbols of access special plates or placards issued by other jurisdictions.

Requires Arizona to grant the same disabled parking privileges to nonresidents with vehicles licensed in other states or foreign countries displaying valid international symbol of access plates or placards, regardless of whether a formal written agreement exists between jurisdictions.
