AZ HB2010

Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 8-652 to establish a cost-sharing requirement for early intervention programs serving infants and toddlers with developmental delays.

Requires parents or guardians of program participants whose family income is at or above 150 percent of federal poverty guidelines to pay at least 15 percent of the cost of services provided.

Maintains the Department of Economic Security as the lead agency for coordinating early intervention programs and services for infants and toddlers with developmental delays.

Requires interagency agreements between the Department of Economic Security, Department of Education, Department of Health Services, Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System Administration, and Arizona Schools for the Deaf and the Blind to develop and implement a comprehensive early intervention system.
