Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 28-3511 to authorize peace officers to immobilize or impound vehicles when drivers lack proof of financial responsibility (insurance).

Requires officers to confirm with the Department of Motor Vehicles computer system that there is a notice of insurance cancellation, nonrenewal, or that the vehicle is not registered before impounding for lack of insurance.

Allows drivers to avoid impoundment by providing officers with either an insurance carrier letter dated after any cancellation/nonrenewal date or a current motor vehicle insurance identification card.

Adds lack of financial responsibility compliance as a standalone ground for vehicle immobilization or impoundment under subsection A, paragraph 6.

Vehicle impoundment periods remain 30 days, and owners and interested parties retain the right to request an immobilization or poststorage hearing.
