Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 13-2504 regarding escape in the first degree to add "a" before "juvenile detention facility" for grammatical correction.

Clarifies that the consecutive sentencing requirement for escape in the first degree applies to any confinement in a secure care facility in addition to sentences of imprisonment and community supervision.

Maintains the classification of escape in the first degree as a class 4 felony when escaping from custody or a secure facility using or threatening physical force or a deadly weapon.

Specifies that sentences imposed for escape in the first degree must run consecutively to any sentence of imprisonment, confinement in a secure care facility, or term of community supervision including probation, parole, or work furlough.
