Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 41-777 regarding criminal history requirements for information technology personnel in the Department of Administration.

Requires applicants for new IT positions to submit fingerprints for state and federal criminal records checks before accepting employment.

Allows the director to require existing IT employees hired on or before July 18, 2000 to submit fingerprints if necessary to protect data privacy, confidentiality, or integrity.

Restricts disclosure of criminal records information to department staff only for IT employment purposes.

Defines "applicant" to include new hires and current employees seeking transfers or reclassifications to IT positions, and "information technology position" as roles requiring access to restricted data systems.
