Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 36-909 regarding food safety samples and specimens.

Changes language from "he" to "the director" to clarify that the director (not a specific gender) may obtain samples or specimens for pure food control purposes.

Maintains the requirement that the state laboratory chief examine samples to determine if any provision of the food standards article is being violated.

Makes a technical correction to remove gendered pronoun language from food safety statute.
