AZ HB2533

Prohibits the Arizona health care cost containment system administration, department of economic security, and department of health services from issuing new or revising existing contractual requirements that increase costs to direct care providers serving persons with developmental disabilities.

Requires these three agencies to conduct an economic small business and consumer impact analysis before issuing new or revised policies, procedures, forms, or processes related to direct care providers that are not specifically required by state or federal law.

The impact analysis must evaluate probable costs and benefits to the state agency, probable costs and benefits to affected businesses including effects on revenues and payroll, and administrative compliance costs for the proposed change.
