Adds Arizona Revised Statutes section 12-557 to establish rules for recovering medical expenses in claims for bodily injury or wrongful death.

Limits recovery of medical expenses to only those amounts actually paid by the claimant, their health insurance company, or other collateral sources in full satisfaction of services rendered.

Defines "reasonable medical expenses" as expenses for which money was actually paid, including amounts owed by the claimant for coinsurance, copayments, or deductibles.

Applies to legal proceedings, arbitration, underinsured and uninsured motorist proceedings, and other similar proceedings where recovery of medical expenses is permitted.

Effective date: December 31, 2012.
