Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 36-2907 concerning the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS).

Adds requirement that AHCCCS administration limit reimbursement for nonemergency transportation to not more than the cost of bus transportation in regions where a scheduled bus system is available.

Maintains existing provisions requiring prior authorization for stretcher van and medically necessary ambulance transportation, with exceptions for emergency 911 calls.

Restricts nonemergency medical transportation coverage to stretcher vans and ambulance transportation only, subject to Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services approval.
