AZ HB2747

Increases the upper age limit for compulsory school attendance from 16 years old to under 18 years old.

Modifies the attendance exemption for children who have "completed the high school course of study necessary for completion of grade ten" to instead require graduation from high school or obtaining a general equivalency diploma (GED).

Applies the increased age requirement and modified exemption to all related statutory sections governing school attendance (sections 15-802, 15-803, and 15-805).

Updates language throughout the affected statutes to reflect the new age threshold, changing "between the ages of six and sixteen" to "who is at least six and under eighteen years of age."
