Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 13-2001 to exclude nominating petitions prescribed by title 16, chapter 3 from the definition of "written instrument" for purposes of forgery law.

Nominating petitions will no longer be subject to forgery charges under the current statute by removing them from the legal definition of written instruments.

The amendment specifically adds language stating that "Written instrument does not include a nominating petition prescribed by title 16, chapter 3."
