AZ HCR2020

Limits who can sign recall petitions to only those qualified electors who voted in the most recent election to fill the public office being targeted for recall, rather than all qualified electors in the electoral district.

Requires that officers of a political committee organizing a recall must be residents of the targeted public officer's electoral district.

Maintains the existing requirement that recall petitions must gather signatures equal to 25% of votes cast in the last general election for all candidates for that office.

Proposes a constitutional amendment to Article VIII, Part 1, Section 1 of the Arizona Constitution, subject to voter approval at the next general election.
