Requires judges to order persons convicted of or pleading guilty/no contest to misdemeanor domestic violence offenses to complete a domestic violence treatment program, be placed on supervised probation, and serve not less than 48 consecutive hours in jail.

Mandates a fine of not less than $50 for misdemeanor domestic violence convictions, with funds deposited into the domestic violence shelter fund through county or city treasurers.

Allows judges to order incarceration as a condition of probation for repeat domestic violence offenders convicted within 60 months of a prior domestic violence conviction or similar conviction in another jurisdiction.

Permits employed or student offenders serving jail time to work or attend school for up to 12 hours per day, 5 days per week, with remaining time served in jail.

Adds section 13-3601.01 as a source of funding for the domestic violence shelter fund established under section 36-3002.
