Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 5-602.01 regarding the Department of Gaming's authority to impose civil penalties.

Changes the procedure for depositing civil penalties collected by the department from being "transferred to the state treasurer for deposit" to being "deposited, pursuant to sections 35-146 and 35-147, in the state general fund."

Maintains the Department of Gaming's authority to impose civil penalties up to $5,000 per day (maximum $25,000 total) against certificate holders for violations, or up to $500 for violations not constituting grounds for revocation.

Preserves the requirement that the Department consider the seriousness of violations and financial impact on certificate holders when determining penalty amounts.

Retains the Attorney General's authority to file court actions to recover civil penalties imposed under this section.
