AZ SB1140

Adds duly appointed or registered private process servers to the list of protected persons under Arizona's aggravated assault statute (A.R.S. § 13-1204).

Makes it aggravated assault in the sixth degree felony category when a person commits assault against a private process server while the server is engaged in the execution of official duties.

Extends the same legal protections for process servers that currently apply to other protected categories such as peace officers, prosecutors, teachers, and health care practitioners.
