Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 41-835.02 to modify the State Board on Geographic and Historic Names membership requirements.

Changes the appointing agency for one board member from the "department of commerce" to the "Arizona commerce authority."

Maintains the board's composition of nine members: seven appointed by designated state agencies/organizations and two public members appointed by the governor.

Preserves existing provisions regarding staggered five-year terms, with geography department members serving two-year rotating terms among Arizona's three state universities.

Keeps unchanged requirements for expense reimbursement, staff support from the Arizona State Library, quorum of a majority, and annual election of chairman and vice-chairman.
