AZ SB1209

Allows sheriffs to collect a fee from sex offenders required to register under Arizona law who are not on probation, parole, or community supervision.

Establishes fee amounts of $50 for level three offenders and $30 for level two offenders, as defined under section 13-3825.

Requires collected fees to be used to offset the costs of registering, tracking, and verifying sex offender information.

Adds section 11-453 to Arizona Revised Statutes governing sheriff authority to collect these registration fees.
