Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 13-1204 to add public defenders to the list of individuals receiving enhanced assault penalties.

Expands aggravated assault classifications to include assaults on public defenders with the same felony levels as assaults on prosecutors (class 2 felony for subsection A paragraph 1 or 2 assaults, class 3 felony for paragraph 3 assaults).

Defines "public defender" as an attorney provided at cost to a county or city pursuant to Arizona Rules of Criminal Procedure rule 6.5.

Corrects reference to park rangers by adding "county" designation to "state, county or municipal park ranger" in aggravated assault provisions.

Creates consistent sentencing structures treating assaults on public defenders identically to assaults on prosecutors under the state's felony classification system.
