Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 13-3102 to clarify definitions of "public establishment" and "public event" by adding requirement that such locations must be "controlled or restricted by the presence of a state or other certified law enforcement officer or an armed security officer"

Modifies the prohibition against carrying deadly weapons in public establishments and at public events to apply only when law enforcement or armed security is present

Maintains existing criminal classifications for misconduct involving weapons, ranging from class 1 misdemeanor to class 2 felony depending on the specific violation

Preserves existing exemptions for peace officers, military personnel, correctional officers, and those carrying firearms in visible manner or in transportation storage compartments
