Adds Chapter 35 to Title 44 of Arizona Revised Statutes regulating background checks for employees who enter private residences during work.

Defines "background check" as either a fingerprint clearance card from the Department of Public Safety or a state and federal criminal history records check from a licensed private investigator or consumer reporting agency meeting specific standards.

Limits employee causes of action against employers with established background check programs to cases involving false background checks that employers knew were erroneous and ignored with reckless or malicious disregard.

Creates a rebuttable presumption that employers who implement a background check policy and whose employee's check shows no disqualifying offenses have not acted negligently in criminal act lawsuits.

Prohibits the chapter from creating additional causes of action or requiring employers to violate federal or state employment laws.
