Allows concealed weapon carrying on public university, college, and community college grounds by permit holders, unless prohibited by posted signage on individual buildings.

Requires public universities, colleges, and community colleges that prohibit weapons in buildings to post signs at least 5 inches by 7 inches at public entrances and provide temporary secure weapon storage.

Defines "building" as a permanent enclosed structure with walls, roof, and limited access; excludes parking structures and K-12 educational facilities.

Establishes that possessing a weapon in violation of university/college weapon rules is a petty offense, and adds weapon possession restrictions to the interference with educational institution statute.

Requires public universities, colleges, and community colleges to provide temporary and secure weapon storage when requesting visitors to surrender weapons.
