Acknowledges the family's six-generation musical legacy, including daughter Luisa Espinel as an internationally known Spanish song and dance interpreter in the 1930s, and granddaughter Linda Ronstadt who won 11 Grammy Awards and other major music awards.

Notes the family's role in preserving and sharing unique family and regional Mexican and American folk and popular songs in the Sonoran desert region for over 100 years.
