Honors Alberta C. Tippeconnic, a Navajo Nation member and lifelong advocate for Arizona's American Indian Nations who passed away on December 29, 2011, at age 71.

Recognizes her distinguished 36-year career with the Inter Tribal Council of Arizona, where she served as Research Director starting in 1976 and as Assistant Director from 1982 until her death.

Notes her work on environmental, health, jurisdictional, leadership, cultural and historical issues affecting American Indian peoples and Tribal Nations.

Acknowledges her service on boards including the Arizona Women's Heritage Trail, Water Infrastructure Finance Authority, and American Civil Liberties Union of Arizona.

Expresses the Senate's condolences to her surviving family members including her mother Rose, sons Jay and Jon, brother Lorenzo, and five grandchildren.
