Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 38-711 to modify the normal retirement date definition for ASRS members whose membership commenced on or after July 1, 2011.

Replaces the previous requirement of a member's fifty-fifth birthday with thirty years of credited service with a new provision allowing retirement when the sum of a member's age and years of total credited service equals eighty-five.

Applies retroactively to and after June 30, 2011, affecting members who joined the Arizona State Retirement System on or after July 1, 2011.

Maintains other existing normal retirement date options including age sixty-five, age sixty-two with ten years of service, and age sixty with twenty-five years of service.
