Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Title 12, Chapter 5, Article 3 by adding section 12-558 regarding recovery of medical expenses in personal injury and wrongful death claims.

Limits recovery of medical expenses to only those amounts for which actual payment was made by the claimant, their health insurance company, or other collateral sources in full satisfaction of services rendered.

Defines "reasonable medical expenses" as expenses actually paid in full, including any coinsurance, copayments, or deductibles owed by the claimant.

Applies to any legal proceeding, underinsured/uninsured motorist proceeding, arbitration, or similar proceeding where recovery of medical expenses for bodily injury or wrongful death is permitted.

Effective date: December 31, 2013.
