Amends section 27-514 of the Arizona Revised Statutes regarding the Oil and Gas Conservation Commission.

Changes the appointment term language for commission members from specific staggered terms ending in years 1960-1964 to a standardized five-year term expiring on the third Monday in January.

Maintains the commission structure of five appointed members (no more than three from the same political party) plus the state land commissioner as a non-voting ex officio member.

Preserves existing requirements that appointive members be U.S. citizens with at least five years of Arizona residency immediately before appointment.

Preserves compensation provisions for appointive members based on section 38-611 for days spent performing official duties.
