State Board of Education must annually publish lists of academic skills pupils should possess to enter each grade level and skills to be acquired by end of each grade level, including kindergarten.

Academic skills lists must be provided to all school districts and charter schools, posted prominently at school sites, posted on the Department of Education website, and made available to parents and guardians on request.

Arizona Board of Regents must annually publish lists of academic skills and prerequisite courses needed for community college and university admission, in cooperation with universities, community colleges, school districts, and charter schools.

Postsecondary academic skills and prerequisites lists must be provided to universities and community colleges, posted at each campus, posted on the Arizona Board of Regents website, and made available to students and the public on request.

The bill does not alter student promotion or retention policies, which remain governed by existing statutes regarding academic standards and grade advancement.
