Requires licensed health professionals (under title 32, chapters 14, 15, 17, 19.1, 25, or 33), teachers, teacher's aides, and postsecondary instructors to report to law enforcement if they have reasonable cause to believe a client or student is a danger to self or others.

Mandates reports be made to appropriate law enforcement agencies as soon as practicable upon identifying a potentially dangerous person.

Provides immunity from criminal and civil liability for individuals making good faith reports under this section.

Defines "reasonable cause" as either personal observation that a person is a danger to self or others, or awareness that a person has communicated a threat with both intent and ability to carry it out.
