Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 12-944 regarding property held by public agencies.

Requires agencies that take property from a person to provide a detailed receipt for the property.

Receipt must contain a notice informing the person how to retrieve the property from the agency.

Maintains existing requirement that agencies publish or post notice of found property valued over $150 before final disposal if the owner is unknown.
