• Prohibits law enforcement agencies from using drones to gather evidence, audio, video, or information unless specifically authorized by a valid search warrant naming the target citizen.

• Prohibits any person from using drones to monitor individuals inside homes, places of worship, closed property areas, or other locations where privacy is reasonably expected.

• Makes evidence obtained in violation of these prohibitions inadmissible in any civil or criminal proceeding within Arizona.

• Allows drone use exceptions for law enforcement with proper search warrants, enforcement of wildlife/game laws on public or consented private lands, and lawful civilian drone ownership and operation.

• Establishes violation of the law as a class 6 felony and allows aggrieved parties to bring civil actions against law enforcement agencies for violations.
