Establishes a one-year pilot program in counties with populations between 800,000 and 2 million persons to fund after-school programs focused on adult and child health services and exercise programs.

County school superintendent shall administer the pilot program in consultation with participating school district superintendents to determine specific program offerings.

County school superintendent must submit a written report summarizing pilot program results to the county board of supervisors by September 1, 2015, with a copy provided to the secretary of state.

Appropriates $200,000 from the state general fund in fiscal year 2013-2014 to the department of education for distribution to county school superintendents to fund the pilot program.

The pilot program and associated requirements expire and are repealed on September 14, 2015.
