AZ HCR2010

Amends Arizona Constitution Article VI, Section 12 to require candidates for superior court judge in counties with less than 250,000 population to have their political party designation displayed on ballots alongside their name and office title.

Amends Arizona Constitution Article VI, Section 38 to require justices and judges to file a declaration of their political party affiliation when seeking retention, with party designation appearing on retention election ballots.

Amends Arizona Constitution Article VII, Section 10 to require all judicial candidates to designate a political party affiliation that must be displayed on the ballot with their name.

Clarifies that nomination procedures for state, county, and local elected offices must occur through political party primary elections, excluding only judicial offices which have separate partisan designation requirements.

Directs the Secretary of State to submit this constitutional amendment proposition to voters at the next general election for approval.
