AZ HCR2015

Proposes a constitutional measure to be submitted to Arizona voters regarding the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS).

Prohibits any statutory or administrative expansion of AHCCCS eligible persons until the Joint Legislative Budget Committee certifies the expansion will be budget neutral for the next 20 fiscal years.

Requires certification be submitted to the Governor, President of the Senate, and Speaker of the House of Representatives before any expansion takes effect.

Measure will be placed on the ballot at the next general election if approved by the Legislature.
