Establishes the green public schools task force consisting of 9 members including legislators from both parties, state officials, nonprofit representatives, and school district representatives.

Task force shall identify procedures to retrofit public schools to meet Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) building standards and recommend a model green cleaning policy.

Task force shall make recommendations on establishing and financing a system for retrofitting existing schools and constructing new schools with energy efficiency and sustainability standards.

Task force must submit findings and recommendations report to the governor, senate president, house speaker, and secretary of state by November 1, 2014.

Task force members receive no compensation but are eligible for expense reimbursement; the task force expires December 31, 2014.
