SB 1038 Summary

• Requires persons who supervise parenting time for compensation to obtain a valid fingerprint clearance card (Level I) issued pursuant to section 41-1758.07 when courts order agency supervision.

• Adds persons authorized by courts to supervise parenting time under title 25, chapter 4, article 1 to the list of mandatory reporters of child abuse and neglect under section 13-3620.

• Applies fingerprint clearance card requirements to parenting time supervision ordered in cases involving domestic violence, substance abuse, or general judicial supervision under sections 25-403.03, 25-403.04, 25-410, and 25-411.

• Adds section 25-403.03 to the list of statutes requiring fingerprint background checks in sections 41-619.51 and 41-1758.

• Updates section 41-1758.07 to include persons fingerprinted under section 25-403.03 (domestic violence cases) within the definition of persons eligible for Level I fingerprint clearance cards.
