Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 41-906 regarding return of alien and nonresident public charges from state institutions.

Updates references to federal immigration officials from "United States commissioner general of immigration" to "assistant secretary of the United States immigration and customs enforcement and the director of the United States citizenship and immigration services."

Changes gender-specific language from "he" to "the person" in the residency requirement definition.

Maintains existing provisions allowing the governor to cooperate with federal and foreign officials to arrange return of alien public charges from state hospital, industrial school, and state prison.

Preserves reciprocal agreement authority with other states for exchange of nonresident public charges and expense allocation rules.
