• Adds new subsection allowing adequate cause for hearing a motion to modify legal decision-making if the current order was issued between January 1, 2008 and January 1, 2013 and does not promote substantial, frequent, meaningful and continuing contact with the petitioner's child.

• Clarifies that the affidavit/verified petition requirements do not apply when seeking modification or clarification of parenting time only, rather than changes to legal decision-making.

• Maintains existing provisions regarding military deployment exceptions, domestic violence petitions, and expedited hearings for criminal charges involving children or domestic violence.
