• Requires each school district governing board and charter school governing body to adopt policies mandating daily organized physical activity for students in kindergarten and grades 1-5

• Physical education classes may be used to fulfill the daily organized physical activity requirement

• Unstructured recess time before or after lunch periods does not count toward satisfying the daily activity requirement
