AZ SB1120

Repeals Title 11, Chapter 7, Article 8 of Arizona Revised Statutes and sections 13-1509, 13-2928, 13-2929, and 41-1724 related to immigration enforcement and border security funding.

Removes language from section 12-116.04 that directed penalty assessment funds to the "gang and immigration intelligence team enforcement mission border security and law enforcement subaccount."

Removes from section 13-2319 (smuggling statute) a provision allowing peace officers to stop vehicles based on reasonable suspicion of civil traffic law violations.

Removes from section 13-3883 a provision allowing peace officers to arrest persons without warrant if they committed any public offense making them removable from the United States.

Removes from section 28-3511 provisions authorizing vehicle removal and impoundment when transporting or harboring aliens in violation of U.S. immigration law, and eliminates entrapment defenses in employment authorization verification sections 23-212 and 23-212.01.
